Montaditos originate in the Basque area of the north of Spain and are generally enjoyed as bar snacks with wine or cider.
A “Montadito” is generally food served on a slice of baguette, although the bread often pales in significance to the topping!
Normally each Montadito is held together with a toothpick or ‘pinchito’, just choose which Montaditos you want from the bar, collect your toothpicks and enjoy!
